This half-day workshop will help you make the most out of the research that you’ve already done, by making you aware of a method we’ve adapted from the Johari Window for categorising knowledge and knowledge-finding. It will cover how you might approach shared or common knowledge, expert knowledge, original knowledge, blind spots and speculative knowledge, and show you how to identify genuine gaps in the research, pointing the way forwards to where fruitful research has yet to be conducted.

By the end of the workshop you’ll have learned a defter way to calibrate how you present your research to readers who may be more and less familiar with your field of expertise.
