Virtual Encounters - Call for participants open

The University of East Anglia is delighted to host Encounters on 24-25 June 2021.  Given the continued restrictions and uncertainties regarding opportunities for travel in the pandemic, we hope to build on the success of the December 2020 Encounters hosted by Birkbeck, meaning this event too will be virtual.

The conference is an opportunity for all doctoral students in the arts and humanities to build networks and connections across the CHASE institutions, via the dissemination and discussion of research in various formats: for example, via presentations of varying duration, video posters, work-in-progress sessions, and reflective and roundtable sessions. When preparing your contribution, it might be useful to consider whether it might fall under one of the following themes which might shape encounters at this conference, and which you can interpret as you see fit: decolonising the university; futures; and community. But you are not restricted to these themes!
